The place
Oasis Tamarindo sits at the southern edge of Corralejo, where the resort stops and the natural park begins. From the terrace you look straight out at the dunes - no road, no car park, just sand and sky.
The apartment is on the ground floor, which means the terrace is an extension of the living room rather than a balcony you visit. Seating for six, a sun lounger, and a table that gets used for breakfast, lunch, laptops and eventually wine.
Inside there are two bedrooms - a master double and a twin - one bathroom, a compact kitchen that has everything you actually need, and a living room built around a large coffee table for the evenings when nobody wants to move.
Outside your door: a large shared pool with sun beds, tropical gardens, two tennis courts and a beach volleyball court. Supermarkets, cafes, bars and two of the island's best sports shops are next to the complex.

The reason to book this one. Private access, seating for six, a sun lounger and an uninterrupted view over the natural park dunes. A barbecue for the evenings, shutters on the windows behind you for the breeze.
A two-seater sofa, a chaise longue and a dining table for four, all arranged around a large coffee table. International TV, streaming services and fibre WiFi. There is a dedicated desk if you need to work.
A master with a double bed, and a second room with two single beds - four people sleep properly, without anyone drawing the short straw on a sofa bed. Shutters on every window for a dark, cool room in the afternoon.
Compact but fully equipped - coffee machine, microwave, fridge, everything for cooking a proper meal. One bathroom with a shower, and a washing machine, which matters more than it sounds on a two-week stay.
What's included
Everything below is included in the nightly rate. The airport shuttle is the one exception - it is available, and charged on use.
Corralejo was a fishing town. It still behaves like one after dark.
The old harbour is a twenty-minute walk from the door - low white buildings, boats pulled up on the sand, and the small restaurants along Calle La Iglesia that locals still eat in. The bigger, brasher end of town is further north, and easy to avoid.
